Mental Health

Mental health describes the state of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being – shaping how we think, feel, act, and build relationships.

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by many factors – from genetic predispositions and physical illnesses to stressors in our environment. When this balance is disrupted, psychological or psychosomatic disorders such as depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions may develop.

At the Tamina Health Center, we help you restore, strengthen, and maintain your inner balance. Our treatment concepts combine psychotherapeutic approaches with psychopharmacological support when needed. We always work in a multimodal, individualized, and holistic way – focusing not only on relieving symptoms but also on promoting long-term stability and quality of life.

Our Services

Whether you want to take preventive measures or are already experiencing signs of burnout, targeted counseling and treatment of burnout and exhaustion symptoms can significantly support your self-management. Depending on your individual situation, treatment may focus on depressive symptoms, cognitive impairments (such as memory, concentration, and attention), anxiety, sleep disorders, or excessive substance use.

Depression places a heavy burden not only on those affected but also on their loved ones. Feelings of helplessness and despair can become overwhelming and may even trigger suicidal thoughts. The good news: depression can be effectively treated through psychotherapy and, if necessary, with supportive medication.

Anxiety and compulsive disorders are becoming increasingly common in our society – perhaps also because those affected are now more open to talking about their symptoms and seeking help. In most cases, behavioral therapy and learning relaxation techniques can achieve significant improvements. If needed, well-tolerated medications are also available.

A life without grief or personal crises is hardly possible. The decisive factor is the situation in which we experience such events and which resources are available to help us cope. Therapeutic conversations can provide valuable support, alleviating suffering and helping to prevent resignation or even the development of depression.

Sexuality is a deeply personal aspect of our identity that evolves and changes throughout life. These changes can sometimes lead to uncertainty. Physical illnesses, psychological strain, or relationship conflicts may negatively affect sexuality. Targeted sexual therapy, or the treatment of underlying psychological or relationship issues, can provide effective support. Physical conditions should also be assessed and treated in collaboration with specialists in cardiology, endocrinology, urology, or gynecology.

Do you want to understand yourself better? Do you find yourself repeatedly falling into the same patterns or traps in your private or professional life? Are you looking to develop or change personally or professionally? Through self-exploration and supervision, we provide individual and goal-oriented support. In an initial consultation, we will discuss your objectives together and define the next steps.
