The idyllic countryside around Bad Ragaz radiates peace and harmony – a perfect setting in which to really breathe in nature while cross-country skiing.A 2.9-kilometre cross-country course leads straight through Bad Ragaz. At St. Margrethenberg, there is a 12.5-kilometre-long course and at Vättis, the 8-kilometre Gaspus course and the 10-kilometre Kunkels course. Also at Vättis, you will find a 1.5-kilometre night-time course, which is illuminated every evening. Once again, you are spoilt for choice.

Enjoy the fantastic snow paradise at the Pizol mountain railways.Taking just an hour to get there from St.Gallen or Zurich, an excursion to the Pizol is well worthwhile even if you have only a few hours to spare. Adequate car parking and the new, regular Kombi-Bus service from Bad Ragaz railway station provide a quick link to the valley station. A total of 11 cableways and lifts, including the new 8-person cable car opens up a nature paradise on the Pizol extending up to an altitude of 2227 metres.

The start and finish are located right next to the gondola cable car station.
