Andreas Caminada (3 Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points) has acted as host at the Schauenstein Schloss Restaurant Hotel for more than twelve years. Time and again he manages to surprise his guests afresh with his culinary creativity. This also applies to his new project, his second restaurant brand "IGNIV by Andreas Caminada" and its new gastronomic concept. Devised by the top chef, it is being implemented by a young, passionate team, led by Silvio Germann (1 Michelin star und 16 GaultMillau points), in the former gourmet restaurant "Äbtestube" at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

"IGNIV", Rhaeto-Romanic for "nest", is a place for the senses where sharing culinary art, indulgence and time take center stage – a refreshing and young concept with outstanding cuisine focusing on the product. But it is also about an attitude to life: experiencing a lasting gourmet adventure with friends and acquaintances, jointly choosing from the various menu components and putting together a meal which will ultimately be served in pans and platters as sharing dishes.

The interior has also been lavished with attention. The omnipresent love for detail leads to a modern but cozy atmosphere. The renowned Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola was involved in the creation of this hedonistic ambiance. Using top-quality materials, she gave the "nest" concept a nest-like character and created an interplay between comfort and a sense of well-being.

Silvio Germann.
A young, talented chef who worked for several years alongside Andreas Caminada in the Schloss kitchen and who was therefore able to acquire the DNA of the top chef from Graubünden. He was involved right from the start in the implementation of the new food concept and brings the philosophy of "IGNIV" to the plate with a great deal of joy and skill.

Francesco Benvenuto. He is a passionate host, something he showed in his previous job in the former "Äbtestube". The "IGNIV" gastronomic concept confirms his own culinary philosophy: eating is the joy of being together

Swiss top chef Andreas Caminada invites you on a very special two-day journey of the senses at his two oases of culinary indulgence. The journey begins at IGNIV by Andreas Caminada, where chef de cuisine Silvio Germann will treat you to a 4-course dinner served in the style of a new and fresh fine-dining sharing experience. On the following day, the IGNIV limousine will take you to the nearby Schauenstein Schloss Restaurant Hotel in Fürstenau, where a 6-course lunch prepared by Andreas Caminada and his team awaits you.
