As a result of a change in the law in the Canton of St. Gallen for the protection of non-smokers, from May 1st on in the Grand Gresort Bad Ragaz smoking is onlny permitted at Salon Davidoff.

Golden Wave Bar

Casino Bad Ragaz: the wave-shaped casino bar is open daily from 12.00 p.m. In addition to the usual mixed drinks (from 06.00 p.m.), we also serve various types of coffee.

The Mountain

  • 4cl Havana Club Añejo 7 year Riserva
  • 2cl lime juice
  • 1.5 cl Monin vanilla syrup
  • cinnamon foam

Cinnamon foam: boil up 200ml cream, 3 cinnamon sticks and 50g sugar. Cover with cling film and leave to cool. Remove cinnamon. 100ml yoghurt, 80g Pro Espuma (stabilizer), 20g protein powder and blend well. Charge the iSi Whipper with two chargers, shaking between charges.

Stir ingredients with ice. Add foam to a chilled cocktail glass. Strain cocktail through foam into glass.

L'Anise

  • 10cl apple juice
  • 1,5cl Monin mint syrup
  • 2 dried star anise

Crush the star anise, shake all ingredients with ice, sieve, strain into a cocktail glass and serve.

Grapefruit meets Zimt

  • 4cl Gold snow Cinnamon Liqueur
  • 2cl lemon juice
  • 1cl Monin vanilla syrup
  • 2 dash Angostura bitter
  • 10cl grapefruit juice

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass and serve.

Winter Passion

  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 2 dried star anise
  • 1 tsp green tea leaves
  • 6 tsp Monin ginger syrup
  • 2 fresh passion fruit

Press lemongrass flat and cut into large pieces. Boil 400ml water, add lemongrass, dried star anise and boil gently for 8 min. Remove from heat, add the tea leaves (should be infused 2 min).

Put all into a shaker through a fine sieve, add ginger syrup and the fresh passion fruit, fill with ice and shake. Sieve twice and serve in a glas.
