Slava Kalyoushny was born in St. Petersburg in 1990 and has lived with his parents in Germany since his earliest childhood. As the son of a musical family, he started playing the piano at the age of five and began to take tap dance and acting lessons a year later. In 1999, he won first prize in the Russian TV competition “Tip-Top-Show Plus”. His multifaceted talents helped him gain various appearances on television and at prestigious events as well as the lead role in the musical “Emil and the Detectives” in Berlin. On top of that, Slava Kalyoushny has already won a number of awards. Slava and his parents, Marina and Mikhail Kalyoushny, offer a terrific, musically challenging and equally entertaining concert programme ranging from classics to evergreen. Admission free.

Alessandro Sabato completed his piano studies in 2006. Today, he teaches piano in his studio in Biel/Nidau, where he also works as a producer for various bands. Moreover, he plays countless concerts either with one of his bands or as a solo pianist. He never fails to impress with his skill and love of improvisation, and with a musical diversity that ranges from pop to jazz, salsa and hip hop. Admission free.

“Orchestrina Chur” was founded in 1994 as
a purely string orchestra. The ensemble is
led by the violinist and regular concert mistress
Ruth Michael. The amateur musicians

be joined at this concert by the renowned
